Amazon Fire TV & Firestick
IPTV for Firestick:
what you need to get started
A Firestick will not play IPTV on its own — it needs a player app and a login. Both are straightforward, and this page walks through what you need, which app to use and what the setup actually involves before you spend anything.
The short version
- 01Install a player app on the stick
- 02Paste in the login we send you
- 03Your channels and guide load
Downloader code 395800 installs Hot Player on a Firestick. The full walkthrough is in the setup guide.
What you need on hand
A Fire TV Stick or Fire TV device
Any current Firestick or Fire TV works. Older sticks run the same apps but have less room and less processing headroom, which shows on 4K streams more than on HD.
A subscription and its login details
You need an active plan. After payment is confirmed we send an Xtream Codes login and an M3U link — either one signs a player in, and both arrive together.
A player app on the stick
Fire OS does not play IPTV on its own, so you install a player. Hot Player is the one we walk through and support; several third-party players read the same login.
A few minutes and your home network
Installing takes longer than watching does. A wired adapter beats Wi-Fi for live sport if you have the option, though most households are fine on a decent connection.
Which app runs it on the stick
Any of these read the login formats every plan includes. You are not locked into ours.

Not sure which to install? Choosing a player app for Firestick compares what each one is built for.
Amazon, Fire TV and Fire TV Stick are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. The player apps named here belong to their respective developers. StreamPlay4K is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon or by any of these app developers — they are listed because they read the login formats included with every plan.
Xtream Codes and M3U — you get both
Xtream Codes
Three fields — server, username, password. Most players ask for these by name, and it is what we set up by default because the guide and the channel categories come through with it.
M3U playlist
A single link you paste in. Useful when a player only offers "load playlist", or when you are setting up something that is not a Firestick at all. Both are sent with every plan; neither is held back.
Not sure which suits your player? Xtream Codes or M3U compares them properly.
Setup, start to finish
Six stages. The detailed walkthrough lives in the setup guide — this is the shape of it, so you can judge whether it is your kind of job.

One connection is included, and one connection covers one device at a time — so a second stick in another room means a second connection.

Up to 5 connections on one plan. Try it on your own stick first with a free trial of up to 24 hours — that is the only way to know how it behaves on your hardware and your Wi-Fi.
When it misbehaves
Still stuck? Message support on WhatsApp — it is staffed 24/7, and a screenshot of the error usually settles it in one reply. If the picture stutters rather than refusing to start, why your stream buffers works through it in order.
